Formed in mid 2009, VAHA aims to be an evolving allotment holders association, initially working with various stakeholders to create allotments in the Parish of Verwood and Three Legged Cross and, subsequently to develop into a group of like minded allotment holders.

Despite the legal duty of the Town and District council to provide allotments, Verwood and Three Legged Cross does not have any. There are no private allotments either. Currently VAHA is actively lobbying all the relevant authorities and seeking potential land owners prepared to sell or lease land. VAHA is looking at a number of opportunities to provide members of the association with places to grow their own produce. Please contact us if you can help.
VAHA history
The association was formally created in June 2009 in direct response to the Verwood Amenities committee reporting that there was no local allotment Association (why would there be, the village does not have any allotments!).
